Understanding rate limits, quotas, and how they protect deliverability.
Why Limits Exist
Sending limits protect the pool's reputation and ensure fair access for all customers:
- Reputation Protection: Prevents sending patterns that trigger spam filters
- Fair Distribution: Ensures all customers get pool access
- Provider Compliance: Respects SMTP provider rate limits
Limit Types

What Happens at Limits
- Emails are queued until limits reset (not rejected)
- Dashboard shows current usage and when limits reset
- Optional alerts when approaching limits
