What it does

Inbox Monitor helps you understand where your messages actually land. Configure IMAP accounts, send test emails, and verify inbox vs spam placement across providers.

How it works

  • Add IMAP credentials for monitoring accounts
  • Send test emails to these seed accounts
  • Check inbox placement across Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.
  • Identify which SMTP servers or content trigger spam filters

Configuration options

  • Provider presets and authentication methods (password/app-password/OAuth where available)
  • Inbox and spam folder mapping for accurate placement detection
  • Monitoring schedules (intervals) for ongoing testing
  • Choose which SMTPs to test (all vs selected) depending on your workflow
  • Optional proxy routing for IMAP checks (when needed)

Best practices

  • Test inbox placement before every major campaign
  • Monitor placement after DNS or configuration changes
  • Use diverse seed accounts across providers
  • Track placement trends over time
